Tough match between two teams in the lower zone of the table in Group IV of the Preferente League. UD Horadada taking home the three points in a 0-1 win whilst also taking a bit of a breather with respect to the relegation zone and making life a little bit more difficult for the home side.
The importance of the 3 points was felt around the ground from the first minute. Both teams wanted to try and take control of the game, but the truth is that, despite the offensive approach of both teams, neither managed to turn the balance in their favor at the end of the first 45 minutes and left a lot riding on the second half.
After returning from the changing rooms the game followed the same pace. The double change at half-time emphasized the importance of today's victory for Benidorm CD, however, the minutes passed by and despite the desperation of the fans, the initial result of 0-0 remained the same. Right as everyone thought the ref was going to blow for the final whistle, Dani Muñoz secured the 3 points for the away side.
With this defeat, Benidorm CD currently sit second from bottom with 12 points before traveling to FB Redován CF next week. UD Horadada, on the other hand, are on 19 points and will now welcome Callosa Deportivo.
