Hello Gio how is the mood of the team two games into the season?

Despite having obtained just 1 point out of 6, we are very feeling well, we do think we have deserved more from the matched and therefore we team morale is high.

This has been an interesting year for Benidorm CD with many new players in the changing room, how is everybody settling?

We are still getting to know and adapting to each other. The changes that are undergoing at the club are necessary and will soon pay off.

As captain do you place extra responsibility on yourself to ensure the new players feel at home?

When I started, they did for me, so I try to do the same. I am a very sociable and a bit of a joker.

As well as new players we obviously have a new and very experienced manager in Javier Subirats, how have you found working with him so far?

It's amazing to learn from someone like him. Despite being who he is, he is a very close and attentive person. He tells us anecdotes and we love to hear them from him. From the beginning to now the team has improved and changed a lot and it's all thanks to him.

One draw and a loss is not the ideal start but what positives have you taken from the games so far?

As I said before, despite getting 1 point from 6, the team is progressing, we have deserved more but we know that this is football. We are looking forward to more and we will continue to fight.

You were two goals down in the Derby very early in the game, but arguably were unlucky to not come away with a draw or more by the final whistle, what does this say about the spirit of this new team?

Despite not getting any points on the board, I am happy with the team’s performance, it was an uphill battle from the beginning and we kept on going, we were always going for the win but just lacked some luck at specific times.

Next game up is against Athletic Torrelano, is it a team that you have experience against and would you be expecting the first win of the season?
