In the first half, Benidorm came out with a very clear game plan against a very tough opponent. The home manager moved Agus to left-back to stop Confi, one of the top goalscorers from Sadrián. Benidorm CD, well-positioned in their half, tried to play their way out from the back from the first minute and on the other hand, Almoradí played a lot more direct football trying to take advantage of the great quality of their attacking players. With much more football than chances, the first half ended with the result of 0-0.
In the second half, the team from Almoradi dropped physically, and the Benidorm CD manager gave entry to Gio to try and control the game from the middle of the with Maiky. After the hour mark, Yehor, also recently subbed on, took advantage of a long ball to turn inside the area and beat the goalkeeper, for Benidorm's first goal.
Without time to react, neat play by the home side ended with a cut-back from the winger, which Ivorra sent to the bottom of the net, extending their lead to 2-0. With the Almoradidense team affected by the two goals, Benidorm CD began to easily manage the game and soon after, again Yehor, beat the goalkeeper in a one on one scoring the Benidorm's third.
This result allows Benidorm to add three massively important points and keeps C D Almoradí at the middle of the table. Benidorm CD will face UD Petrelense next week while Almoradi will welcome Callosa Deportiva.
